HDPE Water Supply Pipe
HDPE water supply pipes are a new type of plastic pressure piping manufactured via extrusion using high-density polyethylene (HDPE) as the primary raw material. Characterized by hygiene and non-toxicity, corrosion resistance, smooth inner walls, excellent toughness, ease of installation, and a long service life, they are widely used in diverse water conveyance projects—including municipal water supply, rural drinking water systems, indoor and outdoor building plumbing, and industrial park water supply. They serve as an environmentally friendly, preferred alternative to traditional metal and concrete pipes.
Product Specifications & Parameters
Material Grade
Uses PE100-grade high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resin (current standards mandate the use of PE100-grade virgin material for water pipes, discontinuing the use of PE80 grade); PE80-grade products can be customized for specific applications. The resin content is no less than 95%, complying with the material classification requirements for thermoplastic pipes set forth in the national standard GB/T 18475

Applicable Standards
Standard Lengths
Standard lengths: 6m, 9m, and 12m; special lengths can be customized based on project requirements. Coil lengths are adjustable according to pipe diameter, and the inner coil diameter complies with relevant standards
Appearance Requirements
The pipe is black with three or more extruded blue stripes evenly distributed around its circumference. The inner and outer surfaces are smooth and clean, free from bubbles, scratches, dents, color variations, or impurities. Both ends of the pipe are cut flat and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis
Applicable Standards
Core standard: GB/T 13663.2-2018 "Polyethylene (PE) piping systems for water supply—Part 2: Pipes"
Reference standards: GB/T 13663.1-2017 "Polyethylene (PE) piping systems for water supply—Part 1: General"; GB/T 18475-2017 "Classification and designation of materials for thermoplastic pressure pipes and fittings—Overall service (design) coefficient"
