HDPE Double Wall Corrugated Pipe
HDPE double-wall corrugated pipe is a new type of plastic piping manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) using an extrusion process. Featuring a smooth inner wall and an annularly corrugated outer structure, it combines advantages such as high ring stiffness, light weight, corrosion resistance, and ease of installation. It is a mainstream piping choice for projects including municipal drainage and sewage systems, separate storm and sanitary sewer networks, residential piping networks, and agricultural irrigation.

Applicable Standards
Ring Stiffness Classes (National Standard GB/T 19472.1)
SN4: Suitable for green belts, residential complexes, and non-motorized vehicle lanes.
SN8: Suitable for municipal roads, arterial roads, and heavy-load pavements (mainstream/common usage).
SN12.5, SN16: Suitable for deep burial, heavy loads, and special engineering projects.
Standard Length
Standard 6 meters per pipe; Connection method: Socket-and-spigot connection sealed with an elastic rubber ring.
Applicable Standards
GB/T 19472.1-2019 "Polyethylene (PE) structural wall piping systems for underground use – Part 1: Polyethylene double-wall corrugated pipes"
Scope of Application
Municipal Engineering: Urban rainwater and sewage pipe networks; rainwater-sewage separation retrofitting.
Building Complexes: Drainage and sewage systems for residential areas, commercial districts, and industrial sites.
Transportation Engineering: Highway and railway culverts; roadbed drainage.
Agricultural Water Conservancy: Farmland irrigation and waterlogging drainage networks.
Others: Chemical wastewater discharge; river channel remediation; "Sponge City" construction.
Installation Essentials
Excavate and level the trench, compact the base, and lay a sand/gravel bedding layer if necessary.
Orient the pipe socket upstream; apply lubricant to the spigot and ensure the rubber ring is correctly installed.
Ensure tight joints and conduct a hydrostatic (water-tightness) test; backfilling may only proceed if there is no leakage.
Compact backfill soil in layers; prevent sharp, hard objects from directly striking the pipe.
