Introduction to Polypropylene Pipe Raw Materials

Copolymer-type PP materials exhibit a lower heat deflection temperature (100°C), low transparency, low gloss, and low rigidity, but possess superior impact strength; the impact strength of PP increases with higher ethylene content. The Vicat softening temperature of PP is 150°C. Due to its high crystallinity, the material offers excellent surface rigidity and scratch resistance. PP is not susceptible to environmental stress cracking.
